Webinar on PFAS

On 31 March 2025, eurammon held an internal online webinar on “F-Gases: The Biggest Source of PFAS.” Christine Lützkendorf, Policy Adviser for Fluorinated Gases at the German NGO Deutsche Umwelthilfe (DUH), provided eurammon members with a detailed overview of PFAS in the cooling sector, highlighting their environmental impact and updating participants on the EU’s current regulatory discussions on PFAS restriction under REACH, the European Union’s chemicals regulation. The webinar offered valuable insights into DUH’s perspective and work as part of a broader European NGO network, with Christine also actively contributing as an expert in the ongoing consultations of the European Chemicals Agency’s (ECHA) scientific committees.

The webinar supports eurammon’s mission to facilitate the transition to sustainable alternatives in the RACHP industry by providing updates on the latest developments and opportunities at the EU level.
